Our 3 days Desert Tour Fes to Marrakech begins with an exciting journey towards the Sahara. Our first stop is Ifrane, known as the “Moroccan Switzerland”, followed by a visit to the Cedar forest where we can observe monkeys playing amongst the trees. We will then head south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing by the vast palm groves and oasis towns of the Ziz valley, until we reach Erfoud, famous for its fossil museums and dates.

Upon arrival in the Merzouga Desert, we will embark on a thrilling camel ride adventure that will take us to witness a breathtaking sunset over the magnificent Erg Chebbi sand dunes. After the sunset, we will enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in a luxurious desert camp located in the heart of the Sahara. Here, we can marvel at the beautifully clear and starry sky. After dinner, we will be entertained with a Berber party, complete with the rhythmic beats of the drums. This promises to be an unforgettable overnight experience.

Don’t miss the spectacular sunrise over the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, so make sure to wake up early to witness it. After enjoying a delicious breakfast and refreshing shower at the desert camp, we will return to Merzouga Village either by camel or 4×4. From there, we will drive to Rissani to visit a fascinating fossil museum and explore the town’s historic market.

Our journey will then take us through several Berber villages, including Mellab, Tinjdad, and Jourf, renowned for its ancient irrigation wells. We will continue to the Todra valley, where we can marvel at the towering 300-meter-high canyons of the Todra Gorges. The powerful water may have carved its way through the rocks’ cracks, leaving behind a remarkable sight. We will take a leisurely walk inside the gorge before proceeding to the Dades valley, where we will spend the second day of our 3 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech.

We will embark on a journey to Ouarzazate, with stops at the charming Roses Valley and Skoura Oasis.
